If you’re in business, you’re in combat. If you don’t realize it initially, you pick up on it very quickly. It can be fiercely competitive. You may find yourself battling on multiple fronts. Many military concepts and terminology have made their way to the business world. (Consider that the term “freelancer” was borrowed from the word “freelance,” or medieval mercenary. Or that “campaign,” used today in both political and marketing contexts, has its origins in 17th century European military history.)
When selecting a name for our enterprise, we decided not to shy away from our intensity, but embrace it. We thought about Maximus Decimus Meridius, the fictional hero in the classic film “Gladiator.” Meridius Digital is built on the philosophy that companies need to fight, and that we’re here to help you do digital battle, to help defend against potential threats and open new fronts in your quest for online dominance.
About the Founder

From there, it was a slippery slope into digital marketing. He has worked on digital marketing in a consulting or in-house capacity for companies of every conceivable size, ranging from one-man bands all the way to the likes of Schlumberger, PepsiCo and Capital One.
